Owls Nest, Basic Needs Center

FFG collaborated closely with the college's leadership to reimagine the Basic Needs Center with a vibrant tropical market theme. This innovative approach aimed to infuse the space with warmth, a sense of plentifulness, and robust support for students. The transformation was to be achieved through the use of vivid colors, large-scale lettering featuring positive affirmations in the manner of market signage, and the installation of a striking mural to reinforce the theme of tropical abundance.

FFG took the lead in developing thematic concepts, creating mood boards, selecting color palettes, producing sketches and 3-D renderings, and coordinating teams of designers, muralists, and builders to bring these visions to life.

Before the redesign the space was not being used effectively….

The redesign process started with a conversation about what would best serve students. FFG then created a set of 3-D rendered art to bring their ideas to life.

After further consultation the work began!
